Noah’s vegan chocolate cake

Here is the most delicious vegan chocolate cake

1 1/2 cups white flour (presifted)

1 cup white sugar

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt



Then add and mix until well blended: (no lumps)

1/3 cup canola oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar

1 cup water plus 1 tablespoon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×5 loaf pan.


Pour above mixture into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes.  Check at 40 minutes and insert a knife in middle to see if it comes out clean.  Add three-five more minutes if needed.


Chocolate Frosting

1/4 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup (or one stick) Earth Balance

2-3 Tablespoons light chocolate soy milk….add a little at a time!

Powdered sugar…….about almost two cups…..add slowly and stir. Add alternately with milk.

Stir all together….adding more milk and powdered sugar to desired consistency and chocolate flavor.  YUMMY!!!
